The aim of the mission was to offer a breast camp, therefore delayed breast reconstruction was performed both with pedicle extended Latissimus dorsi flap as well as DIEP flap.
In both cases, at the end of the surgery, we could benefit from the use of the postoperative bra as well as the Breast Pad.
The weather conditions at 2,500 meters above sea level are quite complex, especially for free flaps.
All patients did appreciate a lot the comfort of the breast pad and we, as surgeons, did appreciate the effect on the new reconstruction.
